The architecture and detail of the renovated hotel recreates the ambience of the ancient kingdom of Kandy. The hotel also features a café, a bar, a nightclub and a restaurant. Dining may be enjoyed al fresco on the outdoor terrace or inside under the carved wooden ceiling panels with wall hangings of local spears and copper plates. The mahogany wooden chairs in the original rattan design are also unmistakable. The head chef of the hotel restaurants enjoys 30 years of professional experience and has been inspired in his cookery by his travels throughout Europe.
