It occupies an emblematic 25-storey apartment building built in 1958, which makes it a place of reference accommodation for the organization of conventions and all kinds of events. It is decorated with original Cuban paintings.

The Tryp Habana Libre Hotel is located in the neighbourhood of La Rampa, 2.7 kilometres from Old Havana and 4 kilometres from the train station, La Coubre. Its facade is identified with a large ceramic mural of the artist Amelia Pelaez, which gives it an elegant style thats at the same time informal. It is very close to the famous ice cream parlour Coppelia and the University of Havana, and in its surroundings you will find theatres, cinemas, shopping centres and other places of interest in the city.

570 rooms and discreet suites that have all the amenities, such as a minibar, cable TV, air conditioning or a living area. Some are decorated with works by local artists.

- Tryp Room: 60 square metres, warm and functional. It has king- or twin-size beds and an electronic safe. It has an entrance hall and a glazed balcony from which to enjoy spectacular views of the city.

- Tryp Panoramic View Room: the equipment of these comfortable rooms is the same as that of the previous model, with the difference that this, in 60 square metres, includes a terrace. Some of these rooms are interconnected, in case you decide to travel as a family.

- Premium Guestroom Panoramic View: they are completely remodelled and have a contemporary design. Also 60 m2, they have a balcony from which you can see the magic that the city gives off, as well as all the amenities offered by the Tryp Habana Libre service.

- Junior Suite: they are distributed from the 4th floor to the 24th and occupy the corners of the building. Two communicated spaces equipped with all the details to make your stay an unforgettable experience. They cover an area of 120 square metres and both the living room and the bedroom have a terrace.

El Barracon offers the possibility of enjoying the most traditional Creole cuisine. Las Antillas is specialised in international cuisine, and Polinesio in Asian cuisine. La Rampa is a cafeteria that offers spectacular views of El Vedado; Sierra Maestra is a restaurant located on the 25th floor from which to contemplate Havana while enjoying international gourmet cuisine; and Las Canitas and El Patio are two coffee shops that are located in both lobbies of the hotel.
