Constance Aiyana is located on the northern tip of Pemba Island, on the Ras Kigomasha peninsula.You will then have a one hour and 15 minute transfer from Pemba Airport to Constance Aiyana.

Description and general amenities: Constance Aiyana is the sort of resort where you are encouraged to do as much or as little as you like. Boat trips, kayaking and snorkelling are complimentary and there is an extensive list of extra activities such as local bike tours, scuba-diving trips and Zanzibar spice tours. Alternatively, you have an outdoor sala at your villa as well as sun loungers set under thatched shade on the beach where you can nap, sunbathe, read or sketch. Naturally, Constance Aiyana also has a spa offering massages, facials and body treatments.

Room description: Villas at Constance Aiyana are arranged on either side of the main resort, where you'll find the restaurant, a traditional-inspired Shisha lounge and well-stocked bar - all with Wi-Fi - and a couple of boutiques if we feel like shopping. Outside there is a large area around which there are sunbeds and shade umbrellas on an area that flows onto the beach in front of the resort. As facilities, these are soundproofed rooms with bathrobes, air conditioning, additional bathroom, coffee/tea maker, cable/satellite TV, private balcony, room service, safe, relaxation area, separate dining area, living room separate, sofa, electric kettle, flat screen TV, free toiletries, hairdryer.

Dining: Constance Aiyana's main restaurant splits indoor and outdoor seating and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. "Bringing out the African flavor" is the watchword of the kitchen and the cuisine is a fusion of international dishes and local specialties. Seafood features heavily on the menu - the fish is literally bought off the boats as it comes in - as does fresh fruit and veg, while a well-stocked wine cellar ensures you've got something to fuel your night .
