Conveniently located 5 minutes from the City Hall MRT station. rooms: Rooms look oriental with rosewood furniture and red carpets. They are medium in size with a writing desk. Double room is equipped with one queen size bed and twin room has two single beds. All rooms have coffee/tea making facilities and wire broadband is available at a nominal charge. Effective 01Apr10, all rooms are NON SMOKING ROOM. restaurant: The cafe is located on the ground floor, the entrance is almost under the escalator to the lobby level. In here breakfast are served, local and western cuisine are available for lunch and dinner. Ah-Yat Restaurant is runs by tenant and is popular among the locals for their abalone dishes. exterior: The hotel has a new modern facade facing Victoria Street. In red granite and mirrored glass, the facade is distinctive on the street especially when the other buildings are of low rise. lobby: Reception lobby is on the second level of the hotel. The check-in counter is immediately right from the escalator. Some sofas are available further in the walkway. There is also a little lounge facing the counter. general: A highly recommended hotel in the superior tourist category. Providing excellent value for money and a good location within walking distance to Raffles Shopping Centre, Bugis shopping centre and Marina area.
