The hotel is located in central Belgrade, in Kralja Petra Street (formerly known as 7th of July). It offers easy access to the city's attractions, and is only few minutes' walk from the most important cultural monuments of Belgrade: the National Museum, National Theatre, Prince Michael Street (the shopping centre of Belgrade), Kalemegdan Park and the fortress. A dozen city transport lines start in the vicinity of the hotel, providing easy access to all parts of the city. The railway station is around 1.5 km away. The hotel is one of the oldest hotels in Belgrade. It was built in 1885. The hotel was called 'Toplice' from 1953-2001, but now it once again bears its original name. The hotel has 105 rooms (including apartments, single and double suites) with a total of 180 beds, as well as a restaurant, bar/pub, currency exchange office, tourist agency and shop. Other facilities at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, lift access to the rooms, a newspaper stand, games room and TV lounge. Conference facilities are also available. The hotel offers wireless Internet access, room service and laundry service. There is also a car park available to guests (for a fee). All rooms have satellite/cable TV and many of them are air-conditioned and heated. The en suite bathroom offers a shower, bath and hairdryer. Other in-room amenities include double or king-size beds, a direct dial telephone, Internet access, a safe, minibar, washing machine and ironing set. A continental breakfast buffet is served daily. Lunch and dinner are offered in buffet form, as a set menu or à la carte.
