The unique lodge hotel Taivaanvalkeat, located in Köngäs village 8 km from Levi on the river banks of Ounasjoki river, is an excellent place for groups as well as individual guests, who are looking for something new and different to experience. Taivaanvalkeat and its quiet country surroundings offer rustic style accommodation, a bit of luxury.
Stepping in to the main house is like travelling in time. The solid wooden walls shield the atmospheric hall and its warm heart, the huge oven. The flames calm down even the busiest guest. The rocking chairs invite to sit down and to forget all the rush. Let your eyes catch interesting objects which have many stories to tell about living in Lapland.
The main building has 13 twin rooms which have just been renovated. All the rooms have own shower and toilet, hairdryer.
9 cozy twin rooms are individually furnished in downstrairs and 4 twin room (possibility for extra bed) in upstrairs .
Both stairs have a separate TV room for all the guests, in the rooms a TV is not needed.
Fire place is in the common living room in downstairs.
At the sauna department of downstairs is equipped with three showers and a bath tub. (an independet use).
Staircase inside the main house but also from the outside lead to upstairs. Therefore upstairs can be totally separated to its own complex. Even up to 12 persons can live in the four rooms. In every one of the rooms has a wooden extra bed. The view from the windows opens up to River Ounasjoki or to the experience forest where the elves live.

Hotel reception is situated at Tonttula Cafeteria.
