It is located right in the heart of Edinburgh's shopping capital and within easy reach of the majority of Edinburgh's most popular attractions. This includes the famous Castle, Holyrood Palace and a little further afield, the Royal Yacht Britannia.
Renovated in 2006, the air-conditioned boutique hotel offers guests 2 chic bars, a restaurant (for 180 persons) and a glamorous, subterranean club. Opulent Georgian heritage is blended in this Grade A listed townhouse with a cool yet comfortable style. Located over five floors, this refurbished city hotel comprises 33 individually styled bedrooms - including 7 sumptuous mini suites and 2 Georgian suites. Facilities on offer include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception desk, a hotel safe, a cloakroom, lifts, a café, a bar and a WLAN access point as well as room and laundry services.
Each room is decorated with an array of colourful and contrasting fabrics, and comes with a bathroom and hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV with a plasma screen, Internet access, pre-programmed ipods and a laptop safe. In addition to this, a king-size bed, a minibar, a tea/coffee maker, an iron and ironing board and individually adjustable heating and air conditioning are also provided in all the accommodation as standard.
Breakfast is served every morning. Lunch and dinner can be selected from a set menu; dinner may alternatively be taken à la carte. It is possible to book bed and breakfast stay.
