Cayo Coco is a small island with an area of 370 km2, the second largest after the neighboring island of Cayo Romano (465 km2), located in the north of Cuba, in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Both are part of a group of islands called "Jardines del Rey", which in turn is part of an archipelago called Sabana-Camaguey. To the west of Cayo Coco lies Cayo Guillermo, the younger sister, with an area of 13 km2. The archipelago of islands in the north of Cuba brings together over 2500 stretches of land named in the language of the Cays locals, true exotic oases of relaxation where tourism has not penetrated so massively, leaving the beaches and nature untouched.
The territory still has wild portions, with marshes, bushes populated by wild life, but it has countless international hotels. The beaches are very good and the coral reef attracts tourists from all over the world. The beach is 10 km long, with fine sand and crystal clear waters. The flora and fauna are privileged, because they benefit from protection. Coconut, flamingo, cormorant, hammer all are found in Cayo Coco.
