Hague is the seat of government of the Netherlands. It is located in South Holland province in the west, whose residence is. Hague is the seat of the upper chambers (Eerste Kamer) and lower (Tweede Kamer) of the Dutch Parliament (Staten-Generaal).

The glory of the village of Hague was between centuries XVI and XVII century. Hague is the capital city of the Netherlands Government and the third largest city in the Netherlands after Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Hague also hosts royal institutions represented by Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands.
The Hague city center are some nice government buildings, mansions state (belonging to ambassadors and embassies) and good museums (Mauritshuis, Panorama Mesdag) belonging to the Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
Hague is administratively divided into eight districts: Escamp, Haagse Hout, Laak, Leidschenveen-Ypenburg, Loosduinen, Centrum, Scheveningen, Segbroek.
