Since 1999 is the residence of Little Poland Voivodship, previously being the residence of Krakow Voivodship (XIV century).
Krakow has traditionally been regarded as one of Poland's major cities in terms of artistic, cultural and scientific. Also represents the former residence of Polish kings and is considered by many as the heart of Poland, with a history of over 1000 years.
Krakow is also a major tourist center, being the target of over 7 million tourists annually.
Located in Upper Vistula Valley, now the capital of voivodship, port city, visited with delight over 7 million tourists, Krakow is one of the few places where works of art inestimabilele gathered while the centuries have been destroyed during the war world.
