Riviera Maya is a tourist district and is in the south of Cancan, Mexico. It stretches along the federal coastal highway 307, along the Caribbean coast of Quintana Roo State, located in the portion of the Yucatan Peninsula.
Temperatures are high throughout the year. There are two distinct seasons on the Riviera Maya, the wet season and the dry season. The dry season lasts from November to April; in January and February there are strong winds from the north. March and April are famous dry months.
The season ran from May to October. It is much hotter than the dry season, especially in summer. In September and October sometimes it rains for days, heavy rains and hurricanes.
The Riviera Maya is considered a Mexican paradise renowned for its historic tourist base and the hotels and restaurants of the highest quality are added.
Jungle, flora and fauna, archaeological sites, beaches and clear turquoise waters are just a few of the quality resorts.
