Archaeology Museum - details and images
The edifice is built on three levels: the basement you can admire several sarcophagi, reliefs and statues (including the goddess Demeter and Poseidon). Downstairs you will appreciate the Roman busts and marble statues that come to Ephesus, and an elegant bronze statue representing an athlete. On the first floor are exposed clay objects from the archaic era, jewelry and glassware.
The exhibits are outstanding figures of the gods Poseidon and Demeter Smyrna Agora found in various tombs, Roman mosaics, collections of glass and coins, bronze figure of Demeter of Halicarnassus.
