Bastion Funar Brasov - details and images
It was built in the middle of the south wall on the north side of Citadel Hill Brasov Tampa.
The walls are about 2 meters thick. They are constructed of brick and stone, arranged in successive rows to better withstand firearms. For the same reason, Bastion Funar has rounded shape.
Bastion location midway between the Weavers and ramparts testify Drapers concern to cover the entire south side defense with firearms. Today, Bastion Funar is restored, and inside it are two residential buildings.
