Borsec Orthodox Church - details and images
The church, originally designed to worship la Roman Catholic cult, was built in Romanesque style in 1847, has a length of 20 m, width of 9 m and 8 m height (complete with spire). It had two bells: one of 35 kg, another 120 kg. It was built entirely of wood, using any iron nail. The roof of the blackboard was painted green. Inside are the remaining banks to Catholics, placed around the walls.
The inventory of 1978 includes 24 icons on wood, part of National Heritage, icons from the church-Filipescu Parcu Bucharest. Holy bowls are simple, without a special value, and religious books are new.
It was declared a historical monument in 1963.
