Calgary Tower is an observation tower, 191 feet tall in downtown Calgary, Alberta, was named Canada.Initial Husky Tower was conceived as a mutual attraction, part of the city's new urban plan.
The tower was built at a cost of 3,500,000 dollars and the initiation in 1968, was presented as the tallest building in Calgary and in Canada, except the city of Toronto. It was renamed the Calgary Tower in 1971.

The tower houses a restaurant at the top or revolutionary, Sky 360, which rotates to offer viewers a picturesque view over the city. The stairs to the point of observation are closed but open to tourists year on various occasions, the annual competition for advertising or to climb stairs, the tower with 762 steps.

In July 2007, Official Tourist Information Centre in Calgary moved to the bell tower here is locating and an Internet Cafe. From here you can get valuable information about city attractions, places of entertainment, hotels and restaurants. And also hosting a carillon tower (musical instrument) which was given by the city to celebrate the centenary of the Dutch community. The instrument is played daily from noon until 1987, when it entered into a process of restoration.
