Doftana Gorge - details and images
The area below the mountain, situated 20 km. of Campina, which runs along the river valley Doftana, one of the Prahova River tributaries.
Located near Lake Paltin, offers a great view, similar to the Gorges Gorges.
Karst phenomena, the spectacular gorges carved valley in conglomerates Doftana hard, with a length of 300 m and 15-20 m narrow, almost vertical walls forming a real railway tunnel passing through narrow village road today.
