Dubai Fountain is a choreographed fountain system. It is located on Burj Khalifa Lake of 12 hectares, produced in the center of Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The fountain is one of the most important objectives in Dubai.
Plunged into Burj Lake, with an area of 30 acres, at the base of Dubai Mall, the powerful water jets are strategically placed on an area equal to the size of two football fields. The fountain once discharges up to 22,000 gallons of water (84,000 liters) at a height of 140 meters.
Each stream of water illuminated in color swings to the beat of the music, producing what has become the most popular show in Dubai.
The water jets will move in the rhythm of the different choreographic songs. Frequently listened to songs include Michael Jackson's Thriller, Time to Say Goodbye, performed by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman.
The unique design features five circles of jets that push water to impressive heights, which can be seen from over 30 miles away. With the introduction of thousands of WET super-lights and over 20 color projectors, the show is a visual masterpiece.
Light rays toward the sky can be seen from over 30 km away and are said to be seen from outer space, making Dubai Fountain the brightest place in the Middle East.
