Horse Waterfalls - details and images
Horse Waterfalls is located near the tourist resort of Borsa, in the NE of Rodna Mountains. Water collected in a cirque flows over a steep limestone called Horse Bridge ˝ ˝, in several steps, resulting in the highest waterfall in Romania. It is situated at an altitude of 1300 m and the water fall is 90 meters.
Access to the waterfall is easy, whether walking on a path to Borsa or the chairlift in the resort of Borsa. From the upper end of the cable car can be reached in about 15 minutes Horse Falls.
