Knights Castle (Ridderzaal) - details and images
From the 17th century, became an important Ridderzaal for booksellers, as was Westminster Hall in London.
In the following centuries served in a number of reasons: the market, the Promenade, a hall for military training, public office, hospital, even the state lottery offices. It was restored between 1898 and 1904 to serve its present purposes.
Throne of Ridderzaal was designed by Pierre Cuypers.
