Konak Square and Clock Tower - details and images
Clock Tower was built in the Ottoman-Moorish style, has a height of 24 m and was given the town of Sultan Abdulhamid in 1901.
In the north of the square is City Hall - Belediye and lies in the south Aegean University Cultural Center, a complex of buildings with unusual architecture. Much of Konak market is occupied by the bus station.
