Luxembourg Museum - details and images

Architecture museum visitors by striking verticality. Basically, the museum is built as the town, on several floors.

The six levels of the museum are linked by a panoramic lift, which allows you to make a general impression of the city's history.

The first two floors housing a permanent exhibition illustrating the history of Luxembourg City the first part of the foundation until 1839, when the dukedom and gained independence.

The next two levels of hosting exhibitions presenting the recent history of the city and include five basic themes: the town and Power, moving city, City and Environment, City and comfort, and town in Europe.

The last three floors of the museum's temporary exhibitions are designed, where contemporary artists exhibit their work.

Hours: Tuesday to Sunday: 10am and 6pm, Thursday between 10am and 8pm

Entry Rates: Children under 12 years: free, children between 12 and 18, students, people over 65 years: € 3.70, adults: 5 €
