Mraconia Monastery - details and images
The Mraconia monastery was built on the site of a former observation and management point for the vessels on the Danube, because due to the relief architecture, due to the narrowness of the gorge, the simultaneous passage of two vessels could not take place. These narrows and maximum extensions of the river received the name of "Danube boilers", according to many, the place being the most beautiful place in the country.
