Nerei Keys - details and images
The Nerai Keys are formed by the Nera River, which runs through a gorge, with keys, narrow, spectacular and absolutely wild, forming the longest keys in Romania. Here, where the walls rise up to 200 meters, the water of Nera and its tributaries, dug and formed into limestone rocks impressive lakes, canyons, caves and waterfalls. A marked tourist path crosses them, but their journey requires crossing the Nera river directly through the water. In the eastern part (from upstream) of the keys we find another tourist objective, Lake Dracului, and from the western part you can reach the Cascades of Beușniței and Lake Ochiul Beului. You can also see the Valea Rea canyon.
