Pico Ruivo - details and images
Pico Ruivo (literally the "Red Top") is, with 1861 meters high, the highest mountain in the Portuguese island of Madeira.
Pico Ruivo can be reached by car to an altitude of 1818 meters.
The top of the mountain can be reached on foot only, with a walk of about 45 minutes, starting from Achada to Teixeira.
