Shitennoji Temple - details and images
Shitenno-ji is a Buddhist temple in Osaka, Japan. Prince Shotoku built this temple in 593. The first and oldest Buddhist temple in Japan, although the temple buildings have been rebuilt over the centuries.
Most structures are present when the house was completely rebuilt in 1963. Prince Shotoku was known for his deep faith in Buddhism, when Buddhism was spread in Japan.
