In the beginning was evolving skyline. Since 1920, there were ideas to make an access road to the top of Bob, it was made in 1961 when Ian Hamilton (owner of a bus company) has managed to build a very steep road (1.5 miles with an average 1-7 and in some places 1 in 4.5) so that he could bring visitors to the bus until this point.
Also in 1961, Hylton Hensman, a businessman in the place, a friend of Ian Hamilton, bought half the business. Upgraded road and a building suitable for tourists in the top of Bob Peak, they considered a potential tourist attraction.
