Construction of the monument was inaugurated in 1160 and lasted over 400 years, suffering from several fires and renovations over the centuries.
North tower offers a sensational view of the entire city, while the basement houses the Archaeological Museum where you can learn about the excavation of the artifacts found in the Cathedral of Geneva - some of these objects dates from the year 350 AD
