The Ethnographic Museum of Burgas - details and images
Brakalov House is home to the Ethnographic Museum, a museum that exhibits costumes, furniture and handicrafts and traditional art from the late 19th century, when the house belonged to the mayor of Burgas, Dimitar Brakalov. The upper floors feature colorful costumes used in Bulgarian folk dances. All information inside the museum is in Bulgarian.
The exhibition of the museum represents the lifestyle and customs of the people living in the Burgas region. The museum is located in a building from 1873, which is proclaimed a cultural monument.
