The Saint Chapelle and Conciergerie - details and images

The place was chosen by Philip the Fair in the early fourteenth century to build a palace to symbolize his power at the time described as one of the most impressive medieval castles.

At the end of the fourteenth century, King City abandoned in favor of the Palace of the Louvre Palace, leaving the building to be operated by the Parliament and calling it "La Conciergerie", as part of the building will be transformed into a prison.
