Canillo is the capital city of the region with the same name. Here you'll find a great number of Andorra's traditional old mountain houses, the "borda", many of which include restaurants offering traditional cuisine. In Canillo you'll find several historic
churches and chapels, many dating back to the 11th century, lending the region and resort a unique charm. For an après-ski fix, many of the locals swear by the "Camping Pla", which offers great parties and equally good cocktails. Also recommended is the Caldea
Spa, Europe's largest thermal spa, which is located on a natural hot spring, just a few kilometres from Canillo.
