Hua Hin is a famous seaside resort in Thailand, located in the northern Malay Peninsula, about 200 km south of Bangkok. It has a population of 85,000 inhabitants and is one of the eight districts (Amphoe) of the province of Prachuap Khiri Khan.
The resort, whose history is closely linked to Thailand's royal family, has a beautiful beach five miles long bordering the Gulf of Siam (Pacific Ocean). The resort offers, in addition to snorkeling, sunbathing and swimming, activities such as golf and spas,
and attractions such as caves, mountain peaks, waterfalls and national parks nearby.
