Telfs is located at the foot of the 2,662 m high Hohe Munde, a mountain that belongs to the Mieminger mountain chain. Bairbach, Birkenberg, Brand, Buchen, Hinterberg, Lehen, Moos, Mösern, Platten, Sagl, St. Veit and Wildmoos make up the municipality of Telfs. Boasting some 15,000 inhabitants it is the third municipality of Tyrol in terms of size, after Innsbruck and Kufstein. For a long period of time Telfs was a centre of textile industry.

Kaltenbach, together with Ried and Stumm, is positioned in the heart of the valley, the so called "first holiday region in the Zillertal". Kaltenbach is the largest and best known among these three resorts. Thanks to the ring road, thorough-traffic doesn't exist here. The smaller and quieter village of Ried is right on the border of Kaltenbach. Dornbirn is a city in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg. It is the administrative centre for the district of Dornbirn, which also includes the town of Hohenems, and the market town Lustenau. Dornbirn is located in western Vorarlberg at 437 metres above sea level in the Rhine Valley, at the foot of the Karren mountain, part of the Bregenz Forest Mountain chain at the edge of the Eastern Alps. Approx. 2,500 people live in the mountain village in the magnificent scenery of the Rätikon mountains. The end of the valley with the "three towers" of the Drusenfluh group is considered one of the most beautiful of the eastern Alps. Tschagguns is situated in the heart of Montafon between the two towns Schruns and Golm at the foot of the Tschaggunser Mittagsspitze (2,168 m). The lifts for the ski areas Golm and Silvretta Montafon are only a couple of kilometres away. Several hotels and guest houses will provide you with a cosy place to stay. The local landmark - the Marien-Wallfahrtskirche built in the 15th century - is located on hill. You can take a stroll in the neighbouring main town of the Montafon area Schruns to enjoy the historical old town. Many big events are organised here, such as the World Cup Montafon with international live acts. Tschagguns also has a train station, where you can take a train to Schruns.
