The city is linked to a colony (in a place called Petersbergl) of monks from the monastery Schäftlarn. It is unknown the exact date of foundation settlement. The first document dates from 1158 under the Medieval Latin Munichen villa during Heinrich der Löwe (Henry the Lion), Duke of Saxony. A half century later the town received city status and was fortified. Munich is a popular tourist destination, being called the secret capital of Germany. Maria Square (Marienplatz, named after the column with a statue of the Virgin Mary in the center plaza), with the new and the old town hall, by appealing to their towers in the main tower of City Hall in November with the mechanism being housed statues and bells (Rathaus-Glockenspiel), an ornate clock moving figures representing medieval scenes and is operated at certain times.

Nuremberg is a city in Bavaria, Germany, with over 500,000 inhabitants, the second largest city in Bavaria. English name of the city is "Nuremberg." Together with the cities of Fürth, Erlangen and Schwabach form economic and cultural center of Franconia. The city of Nuremberg is situated on both sides of the river Pegnitz a length of 14 km, the river which springs from 80 km north-east of town. The portion of the old town, the river Pegnitz was quite focused. Pegnitz river silt produced (which is named after the first village in which creeps, city Pegnitz) in the north and north-west of Nuremberg has turned this area into an agricultural area called Knoblauchsland (country / region garlic).

Günzburg is a town in Bavaria, Germany. It is a Große Kreisstadt and the capital of the Swabian district Günzburg. This district was constituted in 1972 by combining the city of Günzburg – which had not previously been assigned to a Kreis (district) – with the district of Günzburg and the district of Krumbach. Günzburg lies where the river Günz enters the Danube, and has a population of about 20,350.

The small resort Grainau's origin can be traced back 700 years. It lies in the shadows of the mighty Zugspitze (2,962 m) and Waxenstein (2,277 m) in the Wetterstein mountain massif. The Grainau valley offers a wonderfully unique and original panorama with its two mountain lakes and the picturesque landscape. The Bavarian village itself is divided into Upper Grainau and Lower Grainau and demonstrates country idyll. The most prominent landmark is the new-baroque church St. Johannes with a very pretty onion dome.The village is a wonderful retreat place, offering magnificent views, but also providing access to lively Garmisch-Partenkirchen, which is only approx. 7 km away.
