Kuwait City (Kuwait and Al) is the capital of Kuwait. Located in the heart of the country, the Persian Gulf coast, the city has a population of 2.38 million inhabitants in the metropolitan area. Parliament building is home to many government offices, corporate offices and banks and is undoubtedly the political, economic and cultural center of the emirate.
