Located about 30 km. town south of Zadar, Biograd town (which means "the sea") is a beautiful city in Northern Dalmatia, which annually attracts thousands of tourists both because of historic remains, and especially advantageous because of its location for visiting many National Parks area.

Pakostane is a municipality in Croatia in Zadar County. According to the 2011 census, there are 4,123 inhabitants, 97% of whom are Croats. North of Lake Vrana, 6 km from Pakoštane, there is a historic Vrana settlement. Croatian General Ante Gotovina grew up in Pakoštane. It is a tourist town with many pebble beaches and pine forests.
