Banff is the largest town in Banff National Park, in the region of Alberta, Canada. It is the first municipality incorporated in a Canadian national park and situated at an altitude of 1463 m, is the second city in the country that altitude, the first
being Lake Louise.
Town of Banff is surrounded by mountains which are leading Mount Rundle, Sulphur Mountain, Mount Norquay and Cascade Mountain, and found the above Bow Falls, one of the great waterfalls of the Bow River, near the intersection of Bow and Spray Rivers. Banff
is localized at 126 kilometers west of Calgary and 58 miles east of Lake Louise on the Trans-Canadian highway.
