Niagara Falls is a city in the municipal region of Niagara, southeastern Ontario, Niagara river port on the opposite side of Niagara Falls New York City. Due to the famous waterfall, Niagara Falls is a famous tourist destination and a source of electricity
for Ontario region. The city is connected by several bridges with the U.S. would be like Rainbow, Whirlpool and Queenston-Lewiston.
Originally called the Elgin community joined with the town of Clifton in 1856 and was known under this name until 1881 when the name was changed to Niagara Falls.
